...this actually reminds me of a book i read once. someone put arsenic in sugar that people would put on their fruit, knowing the only person they didn't want to poison wouldn't take sugar.
if whoever it was wanted to poison everyone, why not poison the wine? why take the chance that people would refuse dessert?
